Two girls were found hanging in Peshku district of Bukhara province, reported the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office Khayot Shamsutdinov on Thursday.
The first case occurred on December 30 at about 15:18 in Peshku neighbourhood. 21-year-old D. M. was found hanging from a synthetic rope. According to authorities, she committed suicide.
Close acquaintances told that she never had a suicidal mind, on December 30 she was at home and no one knows why she went for it.
The second incident occurred on January 1 at about 7:40 am in Khurram neighbourhood. 24-year-old S. R. was found hanging in a barn.
Her relatives also stated that she never had suicidal intentions, they do not know what made her do it.
Forensic medical examinations have been ordered on both facts. The prosecutor's office of the Peshku district is conducting a pre-investigation probe.
