Earlier today, Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a government meeting dedicated to the provision of energy resources announced the sacking of Jahongir Ortikhodjaev.
In addition, the president instructed the State Security Service (SSS) and the Prosecutor General's Office to probe into the activities of the sacked officials. In the event that a violation of the law is established, former officials will be held accountable.
