Acting Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov hosted the Ambassador of Qatar Hasan bin Hamza Hashim. The parties discussed the Uzbek-Qatari ties in political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, cultural-humanitarian and other areas and the ways to advance them.
They focused on the cooperation of the parties within the UN, OIC and other international organizations, reiterated the willingness of their respective countries to continue joint efforts to support the peace process in Afghanistan and restore its socio-economic infrastructure and reviewed the proposals on the schedule and agenda of future joint high-level and high-level events.
