President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Kyrgyzstan on January 26-27, the presidential press service said. The two leaders are reportedly expected to touch upon the whole range of ways to enhance the Uzbek-Kyrgyz ties of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership.
They will focus on boosting the two-way trade, supporting industrial cooperation programs and promoting regional infrastructure projects.
At the talks, it is planned to adopt a solid package of bilateral accords.
The visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan was planned for December last year, but was postponed.
