On June 16, the Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Ireland stationed in Moscow Adrian McDaid, the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
The Minister received the Ambassador's credentials and congratulated him on his appointment to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the prospects for deepening Uzbek-Irish ties in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other areas, as well as on some topical international and regional issues.
