Ferghana province governor Khairullo Bozorov hosted the General Director of the Turkish company Alarko Holding Altek Hakan Aytekin.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the construction of a solar PV plant in Fergana province and the financial aspects of the project.
Hakan Aytekin said that the company is working on a 1,000 MW PV plant project in Turkey and, if the necessary conditions are created, they were ready to implement the same project in the Fergana province.
Officials have been appointed to fully support the proposal of Turkish partners and familiarize them with the suitable area for the project in Besharyk, Uzbekistan and Fergana districts. After determining the site for construction, an action plan for the implementation of the project will be developed.
