Uzbekistan will launch new domestic regular flights from March 1, 2023. This is stipulated in the president’s Additional measures for the development of domestic air transport in the Republic Decree.
As per the document, the flights will be launched on the following new routes:
- Samarkand — Nukus;
- Samarkand — Muynoq;
- Samarkand — Termiz;
- Bukhara — Termiz;
- Namangan — Termiz;
- Namangan — Nukus.
It is planned to restore flights to Shahrisabz and Sariosia airports, as well as to launch flights to Zomin airport.
Efforts will be made to create a unified logistics system by integrating the flight schedule with passenger-friendly rail, bus and minibus services.
