The popular winer and founder of the humorous project Mittivine Farhod Mannopov passed away aged 27 on Sunday night, announced his friend Shodibekov Ulugbek (Mittime).
The friends of the deceased reported that a few days ago Farhod Mannopov suffered a head injury while swimming in the pool. After that, he underwent surgery, but he fell into a coma and did not regain consciousness.
The press service of the Ministry of Health said that Mannopov was being treated in a private medical facility.
Mannopov shot short humorous videos on various everyday topics. He described his blog Mittivine (1.1 million followers on Instagram) as "The life of ordinary boys."
The Chilanzar district prosecutor's office opened a criminal case on the death of Farhod Mannopov, Khayot Shumsutdinov, spokesman for the Prosecutor General's Office said today.
The case was launched under Failure to perform or improper performance by a person of his professional duties due to a negligent or dishonest attitude, resulting in human casualties.
Reportdly the case was initiated under this article due to the need for a thorough interrogation of people involved the incident, the appointment of complex examinations that require a lot of time, as well as the impossibility of making a legal decision without a number of other investigative actions.
