Today, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk landed in Tashkent. At the Tashkent Airport, the high-ranking guest was welcomed by the leadership of the Uzbekistan National Center for Human Rights and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the national center said.
During the visit, Volker Türk is scheduled to meet with the leadership of the National Center for Human Rights, the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman).
