Uzbekistan received the delivery of the second gas turbine from Japan for a 1500-megawatt thermal power plant under construction in Syrdarya province.
The first capacities of the plant will be commissioned in July this year.
As reported, a 1,500 MW thermal power plant is being built by the Saudi company ACWA Power in Shirin city of Bayaut district of Syrdarya province.
The plant is being equipped with modern and energy efficient gas turbines from Mitsubishi.
In particular, the phase II large-sized power equipment imported from Japan arrived at the construction site.
Earlier in December 2022, the first gas turbine imported from Japan was installed at this TPP.
