Information surfaced on social networks that a man in Chirakchi district of Kashkadarya province raped a 13-year-old orphan, whom he took into his family from an orphanage, after which the girl became pregnant.
In one of these infos, it was noted that his family adopted 8 orphans, for each the state pays 2 million soums. After the girl became pregnant, her adoptive father forced her to have an abortion.
The spokesman to the Supreme Court Aziz Abidov commented on the information.
According to him, the man K.T., 52, is now facing Desecrated acts against a person under 16 years of age, using violence or threats and Rape of a person who is known to be under the age of 18 charges of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. He was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
The trial in this case will begin on April 7 at the Chirakchi District Court for Criminal Cases. The case will be considered at a closed session, and the Supreme Court vowed to provide additional information at the end of the process.
