President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the Tatar president Rustam Minnikhanov, on Monday, the presidential press service said. Reportedly, the parties considered the bilateral projects and further deepening of cultural and humanitarian exchange.
They commended the achieved high outcomes of fruitful cooperation in recent years. The volumes of mutual trade and investments are growing. The Chirchik chemical-industrial technopark in Tashkent province is successfully operating, during the current visit of the Tatar delegation, a new project was launched - a technopark in Jizzakh province.
While, major cooperation projects are being implemented in the petrochemical industry and mechanical engineering. The branch of Kazan Federal University in the city of Jizzakh is now expanding.
Also during the meeting, they discussed promising business partnership projects in various sectors of the economy, the development of existing and opening new industrial parks in other provinces of the country, the adoption of cooperation programs in the field of innovation, small business and information technology, as well as in the field of modernization of utility networks.
The active participation of companies and enterprises of Tatarstan as part of the Russian business delegation in the Innoprom. Central Asia International Industrial Exhibition, taking place these days in Tashkent city.
At the end of the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed the importance of organizing systematic work to promote joint programs and projects based on the road map.
