51 percent state of O’rta Osiyo Trans (Central Asia Trans) joint stock company was purchased for 65 billion soums by Hyper Partners LLC, encorporated in Germany, the State Asset Management Agency said.
It is noted that 3 non-binding offers (NBO) have been received from foreign and local investors for the purchase of a package of shares. Based on the consultant's recommendation, 2 ишввукқ were transferred to the stage of acceptance of binding offers (BO) of the privatization process.
Accordingly, Hyper Partners LLC, which presented the best purchase price in compliance with the established qualification criteria, business activity in the region, deal closing terms and higher than the estimated value of the enterprise, was declared the winner.
On June 7, 2023 letter from Merritz, engaged as a privatization consultant, sent an appropriate conclusion stating that Hyper Partners LLC and none of its affiliated persons had been included in the list of sanctions of the European Union and the United States, as well as major international financial institutions.
Hyper Partners has been entasked with the responsibility of maintaining the company's activities in the future, as well as organizing, developing and expanding transport logistics activities moving through Europe, China and Central Asian countries, building a new modern customs terminal and a multi-storey parking lot on the land belonging to the society.
