A group of 45 children and 5 accompanying persons arrived from Ukraine to Uzbekistan for recreation and rehabilitation, said the country's ambassador to Tashkent Nikolai Doroshenko.
“Childhood dreams of traveling to another country, acquaintance with culture, traditions, customs probably were in every adult”, he said.
“Yesterday for a group of Ukrainian children such a dream became a reality. They are from different corners of Ukraine: from Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporozhye, Sumy, Khmelnytsky, Lviv and Kiev. A total of 45 children and five escorts arrived to tashkent for rest and rehabilitation. For 12 days they will be in the Anor mountain camp.”
“The evening arrival at the resting place and the reception was touching and warm, in national traditions.”
“Thank you very much to the representatives of Uzbek business and NGOs who kindly responded to the appeal of the Embassy of Ukraine to help children restore psychological balance, forget daily air alarms and missile shelling of Ukrainian cities.”
