Today, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the Deputy PM/Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu. The parties reviewed the ways to further enhance the Uzbek-Kazakh relations of friendship, strategic partnership and alliance.
At the beginning of the conversation, Foreign Minister conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the head of our state.
The Uzbek leader commended the high level of bilateral cooperation achieved in recent years, including fruitful contacts at the level of parliaments, governments, regional administrations, the public and business.
The joint Intergovernmental Commission and the Working Group are operating effectively. The volume of the two-way trade and the scale of cooperation between the leading enterprises of our countries are steadily growing.
During the meeting, the parties also focused on stepping up political contacts, the adoption of measures to accelerate projects in strategic sectors of the economy, the expansion of humanitarian exchange programs, as well as the strengthening of good neighborliness and partnership in the Central Asian region.
