Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Tajikistan are working on establishing customs information exchange. Agreements between the single window systems of the countries are due to be entered into by the end of the year. By then, the work on establishing online document exchange with China will be completed.
The new system will allow full digitization of the document circulation of goods crossing the border.
As part of China's integration with the "single window" customs system, the collection of data transmitted online will be expanded. In addition to the declaration of goods, the system will contain certificates of origin, phytosanitary documents, and transport information.
Pakistan Single Window, a state-owned operator of a digital foreign trade platform, was launched in 2022 and currently has nearly 70,000 users.
