President’s envoy for Afghanistan, Ismatulla Ergashev met with the delegation led by Basir Feda, who leads the Afghanistan/Central and Southeast Asia Unit of the German Berghof Foundation.
According to the Foreign ministry, the parties discussed the current situation in Afghanistan, the related cooperation in this area and pointed to the importance of providing humanitarian aid to this country.
Basir Feda emphasized Uzbekistan’s important role in establishing long-term and stable peace in Afghanistan.
Prior that, Ismatulla Ergashev met with the head of the British anti-terrorist company for Afghanistan, Bhavik Shah.
