American Technological University will be opened in Uzbekistan in partnership with Arizona State University. This was discussed at the meeting of the president Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the founder and chairman of Cintana educational Douglas Becker in New York on Monday.
It is expected that the new university will launch programs in healthcare, engineering, architecture and design in 2024.
“The leader of our country approved these plans and expressed Uzbekistan’s readiness to create favorable conditions for the implementation of educational projects in Uzbekistan,” the presidential press service said in a statement.
