Barno Odilova, 46, an Uzbek national, in Düzce region was killed by cutting his throat by A.G., 68, whom she lived with through a religious marriage. A.G. went to the police station after the incident and surrendered.
The incident took place yesterday evening, on the 502nd street of Konuralp Orhangazi District, connected to the center.
A.G. had an argument at home with Barno Odilova, whom he accused of cheating on him. After the argument, A.G. killed Odilova by cutting her throat with a knife. A.G. then left the house and went to the police station and surrendered.
Odilova’s lifeless body was taken to the morgue of Düzce State Hospital after the examination of the Public Prosecutor and the crime scene teams.
While A.G.'s statement at the police continued, an investigation was launched into the incident.
