Officials of the Uzbek Embassy hosted the Director of Regional and International Relations of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Saudi Arabia Khalil al-Afra.
Reportedly, the parties discussed exports of agricultural products of Uzbekistan to the Saudi Arabian market, stepping up cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries, and exchange visits.
Khalil al-Afra noted that the relations between the two countries had reached a new level in the last six years. They noted that the political will of the leaders of the two countries and the common desire to further develop mutual relations play an important role.
They also focused on forming a working group consisting of officials of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to organize a visit to Uzbekistan by a delegation of business leaders headed by the chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Saudi Arabia.
