Following the talks, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Russian president Vladimir Putin signed a Joint Statement on expanding comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance ties.

Afterwards they oversaw the exchange of 10 signed accords between the governments and ministries of the two countries. Including on the establishment of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Samarkand city, the mutual recognition of the relevant institutions of the authorized economic operator, the implementation of the project for organizing high-speed Agroexpress rail service, the Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2024-2025, as well as a number of documents on cooperation in the fields of transport, science, education and culture.

These accords will help deepen cooperation in a number of promising areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.
