The 10th meeting of the working group on media and information affairs of the Organization of Turkic States began in Bishkek, the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan reported.
At the meeting, the parties discussed launching the Union of Turkic Language News Agencies and the International Turkish News Channel were discussed.
The parties also expressed their opinion on the draft charter of the Organization of Turkic States Journalists' Association prepared by Kyrgyzstan, made suggestions on the action program for 2023-2024, and discussed the upcoming 2nd International Media Forum to be held in Uzbekistan.
"One of the main results of the work of this group was the review of the draft program of the founding meeting of T-BRAF (Television and Radio Broadcasting Regulatory Authorities of the Turkish States), T-BRAF charter and joint declaration drafts. "According to the results of the discussions, it is planned to hold the founding meeting of T-BRAF on November 9, 2023 in Istanbul," the office said.
The second part of the meeting of the working group with the participation of local mass media will discuss current issues on the topics "Pros and cons of artificial intelligence on the example of GPT-chat" and "Hybrid wars as a threat to the security of the 21st century".
