Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov’s during his meetings with ambassadors of Middle Eastern countries discussed inter alia the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
“Today the Foreign Ministry hosted the heads of diplomatic missions of Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and Israel in Uzbekistan. Along with other issues, we exchanged views on the situation in the Gaza Strip. Once again we call on the parties to suspend the armed conflict, which is leading to thousands of casualties among civilians, including children, and to use only diplomatic means and international law in finding a solution,” the Foreign Minister said in his Telegram channel.
