On December 15, president Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted his Advisor on Economic Development, Good Governance and International Cooperation, Suma Chakrabarti.
The parties reviewed progress of activities and further plans to improve the effectiveness of the socio-economic reform program in Uzbekistan.
They focused on increasing the efficiency of the current efforts aimed at improving the investment climate and business environment, promoting major projects in various sectors of the economy with the involvement of leading foreign companies and financial institutions.
They also discussed the process of Uzbekistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization and increasing Uzbekistan’s positions in international rankings.
