Anti-Corruption Agency reported that several cases of conflict of interest involving government officials, namely their roles in the management of business entities, have been eliminated.
As a result of the steps taken by the agency, the participation as owners and managers in private companies of the following officials was terminated:
- Umid Mamadaminov, Deputy Minister of Energy;
- Anvar Sayfutdinov, khokim of the Mirabad district;
- Sanobarkhon Nosirova, khokim of Buston district, Andijan province;
- Sherali Abduzhabbarov, General Director of the Central Securities Depository;
- Abdushukur Sodiqov, Director of the National Anti-Doping Center;
- Dilshod Sarikhodjaev, Director of the Main Information Center of the Central Bank;
- Dilfuza Samandarova, head of the National PR Center under the Tourism Committee;
- Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry under the Ministry of Health.
Reportedly, the study was based on reports in the media and social networks, as well as public data.
