Uzbek Ambassador to the UK, Ravshan Usmanov met with the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign Office, Leo Docherty.
According to Dunyo, Ravshan Usmanov briefed Leo Docherty about the wide-scale Uzbekistan reforms.
The parties exchanged views on the ways to further advance the Uzbek-UK ties and touched upon Leo Dockerty's visit to Uzbekistan on January 10-11.
They also focused on stepping up high-level political dialogue and expanding inter-parliamentary ties, diversification of ties in the trade-economic and investment areas, as well as strengthening of cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue diplomatic relations in order to tap the existing potential for expanding mutual cooperation in the considered areas.
