The President of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent congratulatory message to the military on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Armed Forces and the Day of Defenders of the Motherland (January 14).
“Thanks to your strong will and fighting spirit, the independence of the country, the peaceful and calm life of the people, and the inviolability of borders are in strong and reliable hands,” he said.
“We can confidently say that in all the successes and achievements on the path of building the New Uzbekistan there is a great contribution of our Armed Forces, thousands of military personnel who perform their duty with dignity,” the president noted.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev pointed out that “reliably ensuring the security and interests of the Motherland” is becoming increasingly relevant “in the current extremely difficult situation in the world.”
In accordance with the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy, the country will pay “great attention to increasing Uzbekistan’s military-scientific and production potential, the combat readiness of the Armed Forces, providing them with modern weapons and military equipment, and the widespread introduction of digital technologies into the activities of the troops,” the head of state said.
“The focus of our attention will continue to be on increasing the morale of our brave and courageous soldiers, who are the main strength of the national army, instilling in them perseverance and the ability to overcome any challenges,” the president noted.
