Uzbekistan Airways held Council meeting Thursday, at which the half-year results were summed up. The company in the first half-year of 2017 carried 1,227 thous. passengers, which is by 4.3% more than in the previous year, the company announced in a statement.
The flagship carrier conducted 11,160 flights, or by 489 more than in 2016. Seat occupancy was 75.9%, commercial load - 55.7%.
Passenger carriage to non-CIS destinations increased by 11.3%, to CIS - by 9.8%, while in local destinations decreased by 17%.
For six months, the airline carried 24.8 thousand tons of cargo (including luggage and mail), an increase of 26.4%.
