Korean Air announced to it will stop Seoul-Tashkent regular flights from March 1. “There are poor sales, the company has decided to stop the flight. Accordingly, the representative office will also be closed,” said a Korean Air representative.

Uzbekistan Airways is operating the Tashkent-Seoul regular flights in this direction. There are no changes to its flight schedule.

Korean Air, one of the world's largest airlines, launched the flight in September 2008. In March 2009, the company signed a code-share agreement with Uzbekistan Airways on joint operation of flights. The result was an increase in the number of flights from three to five times a week.

Another South Korean airline, Asiana Airlines, also operates flights between Tashkent and Seoul.
