Petroleum Technology Group purchased the Chinaz oil refinery in the Tashkent province, the respective change was inserted in the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations.
The company previously belonged to Uzbekneftegaz. Giyasiddin Najimov replaced Bakhtiyor Ashrafkhanov as the company director.
The Chinaz Oil Refinery, founded in August 2016, can annually process up to 117 thousand tons of oil into gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, fuel oil and lubricating oils.
The State Assets Management Agency (SAMA) put the plant up for sale in November 2022; in December of that year, the deadline for accepting bids was extended. A total of 7 bids were received as of January 2023, with the deadline for accepting bids extended in May. Mosaic Financial was hired as a privatization consultant.
SAMA and Uzbekneftegaz did not report the results of privatization, in particular, when and for what sum the Petroleum Technology Group bought the oil refinery.
Earlier, Petroleum Technology Group purchased UNG Petro, a network of 78 gas stations, from Uzbekneftegaz.

The latter in June 2021 privatized the former building of the National Security Service in the center of Tashkent for 210 billion soums. In its place it is planned to build a premium Radisson hotel.
While, Delta Global Dynamics is listed as a co-owner (10%) with Advanced Retail International Co and Salveo Limited in a number of companies - Retail Boutique, Retail Store Pro, Retail Group Store, Spanish Store, Retail Group Global, Master Retail Store, Fashion Retail Store, Fashion Group Ca, which are associated with the Saudi Cenomi Group (formerly Al Hokair), which includes brands of the Inditex group such as Zara, Zara Home, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Oysho and Stradivarius. These are the brands that were presented at the Tashkent City Mall.
