President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon hosted the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov on Monday. Emomali Rahmon underscored that the visit of the Uzbekistan government delegation to Dushanbe was important from the point of view of determining the prospects of cooperation.

PM Aripov said that the open and reliable dialogue between the two leaders was an important factor in strengthening good neighborly, strategic partnership and alliance relations between the countries. 

He also noted that in June 2022, as part of the visit of the president of Tajikistan in Uzbekistan, the historic document - the Declaration on Strengthening Eternal Friendship and Alliance was adopted, and other important agreements fully meet the interests of the two brotherly peoples. 

At the meeting, the parties focused on the need to ensure the implementation of the tasks set for the consistent implementation of new projects in trade-economic, investment, energy, transport-logistics, agriculture and other fields.
