Uzbekistan started exporting copper products to USA and Mexico. According to UzA, the Almalyk mining and metallurgical plant exported nearly US$ 82 million worth of products in January-February.
7.3 thousand tons of copper products, 4.6 thousand tons of zinc, 132 tons of molybdenum products and other types of products were exported.
Products are being exported to more than 20 countries, with destinations expanding year by year. In particular, in 2023, new markets for the export of copper products - such as USA, Mexico and Finland were launched.
