Tashkent and Samarkand will host 2024 Ice Hockey U18 Asia and Oceania Championship on April 23-30, with 10 participating teams.
This is the first official international tournament that Uzbekistan will host under the auspices of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
The national teams of India, Indonesia, Iran, Kuwait, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, UAE and Thailand confirmed their participation.
Teams will be divided into two groups, with Uzbekistan, Thailand, Iran, Malaysia and Kuwait in group A to be played the Khumo ice arena in Tashkent and Mongolia, UAE, India, Macao and Indonesia in group B to be played the ice arena in Samarkand.
