Fire broke out in one of the buildings of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, located in the Kibray district of the Tashkent province on the evening of September 30. The Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
At 20:17, fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire. "The situation is completely under control," the ministry said. There is no information about casualties, the ministry added.
Footages on social networks show that a high-rise building is engulfed in flames, and the fire has also spread to nearby buildings.
The Ministry of Agriculture is located in close vicinity to the university. There are also other organizations on the university grounds.
