395 billion soums worth of cash shortage risks were eliminated in the ministries by the Remote Audit information system of the Accounts Chamber.
According to an official of the Accounts Chamber Sardor Usmanov, the control activities and analysis:
- prevented 54.5 billion soums of excess and illegal expenses;
- identified sources of additional income of 3.6 trillion soums to the national budget with collection measures currently underway;
- identified 177 billion soums worth of excess and illegal expenses from the budget funds, and measures were taken to rectify them and prevent them from recurring in the future.
The analysis into public spending found that 3 thousand 200 contracts were entered into with conflicts of interest contrary to related laws. In 9 of them, it was known that 1.9 billion soums of high prices and 1.5 billion soums of overwriting were made.
