Man beat a woman and threatened her with a hunting rifle in Akhangaran district of Tashkent province. CCTV footage shows the man entering a store, chasing away a customer by hitting him in the back with a rifle, and then striking the saleswoman with the rifle barrel. He then throws merchandise on the counter, climbs over it, and hits the woman again. The footage shows two other men watching the incident.

The Tashkent province police department commented on the incident. Reportedly, on October 22, 33-year-old R.K., a resident of the Kuksaroy neighborhood, visited 35-year-old N.Sh., with whom he was in a "religious marriage." He was carrying a hunting rifle; The department notes that the man has been a member of the hunting society since 2021.

Due to a previous conflict, he threatened the woman with a weapon and physically injured her.

"He goes to Russia to work. He proposed to me, but after seeing his actions and rudeness, I got terrified and turned him down. While he was working in Russia, he transferred $3,500 to my bank card and said we would buy a house. That day, he asked for the money back. I said, 'Okay, I'll withdraw it from my card and give it to you.' Because I was at work, I didn't have time to do so. At midnight, he burst into the store with a gun. He hit me on the head with the metal part of the gun. I sustained a serious injury. I was discharged from the hospital yesterday," Sh. N. said.

According to the woman, a criminal case has not yet been opened, and the aggressor remains at large. She said she was afraid to even take her child to kindergarten.

According to the police department, a forensic medical examination conducted on November 11 found that the woman had suffered minor bodily injuries resulting in a short-term deterioration in health.

The Akhangaran district police department Affairs opened a criminal case under the Intentional minor bodily injury resulting in a short-term deterioration in health lasting more than six days but not more than twenty-one days, or a minor permanent loss of ability to work charge. The man has been brought into custody.

The man's hunting license, issued on February 22, 2021, was revoked, and his TOZ-34 hunting rifle has been confiscated.
