President of Albania Bajram Begaj, accompanied by his wife, will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on June 16–17, the Uzbek presidential press service said.
High-level talks will take place in Tashkent, focusing on the prospects for the further development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Albania.
The discussions will center on expanding partnerships in priority sectors such as trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture, green energy, and tourism. Steps to revitalize cultural and humanitarian exchanges will also be reviewed.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Bajram Begaj will exchange views on key international issues, including mutual support within multilateral platforms.
As part of his itinerary, the Albanian president will also attend the milestone 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
