Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva, the younger daughter of the late president, Islam Karimov, has announced her official divorce from her husband, businessman Timur Tillyaev. She shared the news in a post on her Instagram account.

"Buying myself flowers. Choosing myself. Officially divorced. Happily so.

Took Miley’s advice and buying myself flowers.
Looking forward to growth, freedom, and a life that feels beautifully mine," she wrote.

Until 2018, Lola and Timur Tillyaev owned "Abu Saxiy," Tashkent's largest wholesale market. Although the couple never publicly discussed their ownership of the market or their control over its associated logistics companies, a government-linked financier and a merchant working with the market confirmed to Reuters that the couple retained ownership until the end of 2018.

Lola and Timur Tillyaev share three children: Maryam, Umar, and Safiya. Karimova-Tillyaeva is also known as the founder of the luxury perfume brand The Harmonist.

Notably, in 2025, her daughter Maryam Tillyaeva revealed that she had not been in communication with her mother for years:

"I currently have no relationship with my mother. She is the only person among my close relatives with whom I have completely cut off contact. We haven't spoken in five years. Over time, the strain in our relationship only grew. I don't know when we will reconcile, because the more news I hear about her from people around me, the more my perspective changes. It feels as though my mother is increasingly running away from herself and doing whatever it takes just to stay in the public eye."
