The treaty between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan on mutual assistance in civil, family and criminal cases was signed during the visit of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to Uzbekistan on December 5, 2017.
According to the press service of the Senate, the treaty is "an important part of cooperation between the two countries and ensures its further progressive development." The document, in particular, will ensure equal access of citizens of the two countries to legal protection.
