Uzbek Defense Minister, Major-General Abdusalom Azizov today hosted the military delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic led by the Army Chief of the General Staff, Major-General Raimberdi Duishenbiev.
The sides signed a Cooperation Plan for 2018, which is aimed at further strengthening cooperation in the field of defense.
"We hope that the creation of solid legal basis in the military sphere will allow planning and implementing of bilateral events of practical interest to our armed forces, and will also serve to enhance their combat capacities and ensuring security not only in the two countries, but also for the whole region," the Uzbek defense minister said.
