The ninth plenary session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis is to be held in Tashkent on March 28-29, a statement of the Upper House of Parliament said.
a number of darft laws are to be submitted for review to the agenda of the session, including drafts on making amendments and addenda to the Constitution, the Law On Courts, Civil Procedure Code and the Economic Procedure Code and some other acts, as well as the Law On Higher Judiciary Council.
Senators will hear the reports by the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman), the Accounting Chamber, the Prosecutor General, the Interior Minister, Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank and Chairman of the Committee for Nature Protection.
