On Tuesday, the Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov met with his Russian counterpart, Dmitriy Medvedev in Moscow. Abdulla Aripov was accompanied by a number of Uzbek ministers and senior executives.

The talks were held as part of preparation for the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Russia, scheduled for early April. The Heads of States are expected to  sign a large package of documents, primarily in the trade and economy.

According to Abdulla Aripov, the documents to be signed will boost the ties between the two countries.

"Our countries are close, we have always had very good, partnership relations, and we are interested that these relations keep developing dynamically," Dmitriy Medvedev said in his turn.
