On April 6, the Uzbek Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Chairman of the Executive Committee - the Executive Secretary of the CIS, Sergey Lebedev, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the next meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council.
During the talks, the sides discussed agenda and other working issues of the upcoming April 7 meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers.
The sides also exchanged views on practical aspects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the CIS, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
