On April 25, the Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Deputy Foreign Minister of the State of Palestine Mazen Shamiyah, who arrived in our country in order to discuss topical issues of bilateral ties.
The sides were examined the state and prospects for the development of Uzbekistan-Palestine ties, interaction within the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other institutions.
The sides also exchanged views on some international and regional issues, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The Ambassador of Palestine Mohammad Tarshahani was also present at the meeting.
The program of the visit of the Palestinian delegation also includes meetings in the Oliy Majlis, and in a number of ministries and agencies.
