The $3.7 million project "Introduction of Modern Korean Technologies for Year-Round Strawberry Cultivation" will be implemented through official development assistance (ODA) grant funds from the Government of the Republic of Korea until December 2026.

A modern solar-powered greenhouse for growing strawberries will be built in Yukorichirchik district, on the territory of the Tashkent Regional Center for Agro-Services (AKIS) under the Ministry of Agriculture.

In addition, Korean specialists will build and equip a seedling greenhouse and an in vitro laboratory for the production of high-quality strawberry seedlings.

During the project, annual mutual visits of specialists in the field of strawberry cultivation will be organized to exchange experience and improve their skills.

The project will also provide assistance in branding and marketing promotion of Uzbek strawberry products in the domestic and foreign markets.
