Prospects of Uzbekistan-India energy cooperation were discussed during the India-Central Asia Business Council, Dunyo said. Reportedly, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry held a webinar dedicated to cooperation in the field of energy within the framework of the India-Central Asia Business Council.
At the online event, Dilshod Ahadov, the ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, presented information about the reforms in the energy sector in Uzbekistan, the projects for the development of renewable energy sources.
Taking into account India’s experience in the field of renewable energy sources, the Indian side was called to step up cooperation in the implementation of joint projects on the production of solar modules, batteries for energy storage and other renewable energy systems in Uzbekistan.
