Deputy PM Jamshid Khojaev discussed investment cooperation with the UAE‘s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Muhammad al-Mazrui via conference call.
During the talks, the sides discussed bilateral investment relations, strategic partnership and cooperation in the areas of implementation of joint projects.
As underscored, today the joint investment portfolio consists of 17 projects with a total value of about 3 billion dollars. The sides commended the Uzbekistan-UAE joint investment company, whose announced capital is 1 billion dollars, was highly. Today, the company has drawn more than $100 million.
The parties pointed to the importance of implementation of the project of privatization of existing units of Tallimarjon TPP and construction of new energy units based on them by Mubadala and Taka companies of the United Arab Emirates.
