Dubai to Namangan direct flights will be launched, the General Director of UAE’s Fly Dubai airline Ghais al-Ghais said at a press briefing in Samarkand today.
Starting from September 20, the low-cost airline of UAE started to make direct flights to Samarkand 2 times a week. In this regard, a press conference was held at the Samarkand Regency Amir Temur Hotel in the Silk Road Samarkand Tourism Center with the participation of the heads of the Ministry of Transport, Tourism and Cultural Heritage, JSC "Uzbekistan Airports" and Fly Dubai.
In response to a Kun.uz reporter's question about whether the Fly Dubai airline will expand the geography of travel across the cities of Uzbekistan, the company's general director Ghais al-Ghais answered:
- We launched daily regular flights to Tashkent, and now also to Samarkand. We express our gratitude to the leadership of Uzbekistan for this. Also, starting from September 24, we will start to fly to Namangan city.
