Samarkand hosted the next meeting of the chief of military communications of the CIS member-states. In line with the decision of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member-states, the next meeting of the Coordination Committee of the Heads of Communications was held in the situational center of the Central Military District.
Officials of Uzbekistan, Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan attended the event.
The participants discussed a number of important issues, summarized the work completed in 2022, outlined medium-term plans until 2025, and planned necessary communication trainings.
At the end of the meeting, the chiefs of communication of the armed forces of the CIS member states signed a memorandum on the continuation and expansion of cooperation in the field of military communication. According to the document, collaborative plans are to be implemented in this area for the period up to 2025 have been defined.
