Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the Russian Deputy PM/Minister of Industry and Trade, Co-Chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission Denis Manturov.
The parties considered the main outcomes of the commission's activity, including the ways to advance mutually beneficial cooperation projects in the trade, economic and investment areas.
They underscored the importance of further increasing the volume of the two-way trade, implementation of cooperation projects in industry, fuel and energy complex, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, food and other sectors.
The sides agreed to prepare a bilateral program on the expansion of practical partnership between the major companies of Uzbekistan and Russia.
